Terms of use

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the use of the website TickerEagle and all its functions – with and without an account. The provider is Thomas Stickel, Schönblickstraße 18, 72770 Reutlingen (email: contact@tickereagle.com) (“we”). Deviating terms of users do not apply.

2. What TickerEagle offers

TickerEagle is a tool for automated chart analysis of stocks and crypto assets: buy zones based on fixed rules, stop and targets, an automatic Elliott wave count, screener, market analysis, fundamentals, news, the Academy and personal functions such as favorites, notes and alerts. Everything is calculated by programs using fixed rules.

• Not real time: Prices and analyses are updated at fixed intervals (depending on the market, several times a day up to weekly). Prices may be delayed, data incomplete or incorrect.
• Not a forecast: Buy zones, targets and the wave count describe what a rule calculates from past prices. The wave count is a representation and has not been tested as a prediction.
• Availability: We strive for trouble-free operation but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance, outages of data providers or technical faults may temporarily restrict use.
• We continue to develop the site and may change, replace or discontinue functions, insofar as this is reasonable for you. For paid plans, section 12 also applies.

3. Not investment advice

All content serves information purposes only. It is not investment advice, not an investment recommendation and not a solicitation to acquire or dispose of financial instruments. We do not know and do not take into account your personal circumstances, goals and willingness to take risks. We do not execute orders and do not manage assets. You make every investment decision yourself and at your own risk; losses up to a total loss are possible. Details: Risk notice and investment advice.

4. Account

• Anyone who is at least 18 years old and has full legal capacity may create an account.
• Your details must be true; an email address at which you can be reached is mandatory. If it changes, you enter the new one in the settings.
• One account per person. The account is personal and not transferable; you do not pass on your login details.
• Keep your password secret. If you notice that someone else is using your account, change the password and let us know.
• There is no entitlement to an account. Registration concludes a contract of use for the free plan.

5. Plans and scope of service

There are the plans Free, Watcher and Premium. What each plan includes (number of favorites and alerts, buy zones visible right away, stop and targets, emails and the like) is stated on the Pricing page in the version valid at the time of your booking. We may change the scope of the free plan; we announce major restrictions in advance.

Introductory phase: Up to and including January 14, 2027, all features are free for registered accounts (scope of the Premium plan). From January 15, 2027 the plans apply; without a purchase of your own, your account then uses the Free plan. A plan we have set for your account remains in effect. A paid contract does not arise by itself, only if you purchase a paid plan yourself. Content above the limits of the free plan (for example additional favorites, saved zones or portfolios) is kept; only new entries are limited. Alerts your plan does not include or that are above the limit are paused. You see stop and targets of saved zones from the Watcher plan; Premium emails end. You can delete saved backtests of your list at any time and view them again with Premium; without Premium we delete them, as described in the privacy policy, 90 days after your Premium access ends.

6. Paid plans

Paid plans cannot be booked at the moment; they will start later. Until then you incur no costs. As soon as booking is possible, we will add prices, payment, term, cancellation and the right of withdrawal here – before your first booking you will see the version valid at that time.

7. Permitted use

The content is intended for your personal information. It is not permitted

• to retrieve content automatically in large quantities (scraping, bots, mass queries of the interfaces) or to place an excessive load on the site,
• to resell buy zones, analyses, images or data, pass them on commercially or distribute them publicly (a link to the site and short quotations with attribution are fine),
• to circumvent protective mechanisms, use other people’s accounts or exploit security vulnerabilities,
• to use the site for unlawful purposes.

8. User posts

The community rules apply to posts under stocks and crypto assets. You are responsible for your posts yourself. You grant us the simple, free right to display them on the site for as long as they are there. We may hide or delete unlawful posts or posts that break the rules; we review reported content. You can report a post with “Report” under the post, or without an account via the contact form.

9. Rights to content

Texts, analyses, graphics and the software of the site are protected by copyright. Price charts, heatmaps and tickers for guests come from TradingView and are subject to its terms. Trademarks, company names and logos belong to their owners; they are named only to identify the respective symbol. Price and fundamental data come from data providers and may not be extracted from the site or passed on.

10. Liability

• We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and insofar as we have given a guarantee.
• In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable if we breach an essential contractual obligation – that is, an obligation whose fulfillment makes use possible in the first place and on which you may rely. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
• The content is information, not recommendations (section 3). We are not liable for losses from investment decisions you make on the basis of the content, insofar as permitted by law; the first point remains unaffected.
• The providers of linked third-party sites are solely responsible for their content.

11. Suspension and termination

• You can have your account deleted at any time – a message via the contact form or by email is enough. This ends the contract of use for the free plan.
• We can terminate the contract for a free account with four weeks’ notice; we send the termination to your email address.
• If you violate these terms or the community rules, we may – depending on the severity – suspend posting for a period of time and, in the case of a serious violation, terminate the account for good cause without notice. In doing so we take your legitimate interests into account and tell you the reason.
• What happens to your data after the end is described in the privacy policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms if laws, case law or the site itself change. We publish every new version here with its date. If you do not agree, you can have your account deleted. If something changes in a paid plan, we will inform you in advance. Changes that affect the price or scope of a paid plan to your disadvantage only apply to you with your express consent; without it, your subscription runs until the end of the term on the previous terms.

13. Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

14. Applicable law and final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another EU member state, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of that state remain unaffected. If individual provisions are invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid; the statutory provision takes the place of the invalid one.
