About the company

Fact sheet (from the annual report) Software (packaged programs) · Sunnyvale, USA

Synopsys provides solutions for chip design, semiconductor intellectual property, simulation and analysis as well as design services. With EDA tools, engineers design and test chips, supplemented by verification hardware and technical support. With the software from Ansys, professionals from industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy and healthcare analyze their designs. The Design IP segment offers pre-built circuit blocks such as logic libraries, embedded memory, interfaces and processors. Software is mostly licensed under non-exclusive licenses, and simulation software also by subscription or as a perpetual license. IP licenses carry fees per design and in part royalties, and hardware is sold or leased.

The price of SNPS is currently in no zone of this method. The check runs daily after the market close.

Whether a price will soon reach a zone, you see from Watcher. Plans and pricing

How the zone is formed

What is this? The price closes above the highest high of the last 52 weeks for the first time, on clearly higher volume. New 52-week highs are seen as a sign of strength.

Buy zone: the old high up to 1 ATR above it (retest). Stop: 1.5 ATR below the old high. Targets: 3 and 5 ATR above the old high.

The pattern is valid for at most 15 trading days and expires if the price falls below the stop. This is a calculated analysis, not a forecast and not a call to buy. Risk notice and investment advice
