Phillips 66 is a US energy company focused on refineries that process crude oil into gasoline, diesel and other products. It also owns pipelines, chemicals through a joint venture and gas station brands such as Phillips 66 and 76. It operates mainly in the US. As of Oct 11, 2026
Phillips 66, based in Houston, Texas, was created through the spin-off of ConocoPhillips’ processing and marketing (downstream) businesses. Its segments cover transportation and storage (midstream), chemicals, refining, marketing and specialties, and renewable fuels. In midstream, the group gathers, processes, transports and markets natural gas and NGLs, partly through the subsidiary DCP LP, and exports liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The refineries in the United States and Europe produce gasoline and distillates including jet fuel, for example. In April 2025 the group acquired Coastal Bend with NGL pipelines, fractionation facilities and distribution systems.
