Elliott wave analysis Linde (4-hour candles): Nested combination, Corrective pattern (downward), Y complete (2 of 3 guidelines); no buy zone of the rule on this timeframe. Candlestick chart LIN with 179 4-hour candles from Jun 22, 2026, 19:30 to Oct 27, 2026, 18:30. No buy zone of the rule on this timeframe – only the Elliott count: Nested combination, Corrective pattern (downward), Y complete (2 of 3 guidelines) (X = 40% of W; Y = 55% of W), invalid on a close below the end of Y. Alternative: Flat (type known only after C), Corrective pattern (upward), C in progress (1 of 3 guidelines). No value axis. Automated analysis (rule-based), not investment advice. LIN · 4-hour candles · Automated analysis (rule-based) No buy zone of the rule – Elliott count only invalid on a close below the end of Y 0 W X Y complete Jul Aug Sep Oct last candle Oct 27, 2026, 18:30 · not investment advice Without a buy zone of the rule: no value axis
  • 4-hour candles (green = close above open, red = below)
  • Elliott count (thin gold line, waves in circles; dashed circle = still in progress; small = subwaves; red dashed = invalidation level)

Elliott count: Nested combination, Corrective pattern (downward), Y complete (2 of 3 guidelines) · X = 40% of W; Y = 55% of W

Alternative (not drawn): Flat (type known only after C), Corrective pattern (upward), C in progress (1 of 3 guidelines)

Note: Nested: leg W is itself a combination, its X is 43.1% (at most 88.7%).

Note: Structure ambiguous: leg Y can also be read as three- or five-part.

Note: Retracement at least 88.7% of A: flat possible (B in progress, type only with C).

Elliott count calculated automatically by fixed Elliott rules, not investment advice – display only, our buy zones do not use it. Provisional: The count can change with new candles.

Scenarios

Timeframe 4 hours · As of Oct 27, 2026 · from the Elliott count in the analysis chart

Weighting Main scenario: ahead (2 of 3 guidelines, medium) · Alternative: behind (1 of 3, weak)

Weighting by guidelines met – not a probability.

Main scenario

ahead medium · 2 of 3 guidelines

As long as the 4-hour close stays above the end of Y, this applies: complex countermove downward (Nested combination), Y complete – count points to rising prices.

Invalid if the 4-hour close is below the end of Y

Alternative

behind weak · 1 of 3 guidelines

If that breaks, the second reading no longer applies either: flat countermove upward in three waves (Flat, type known only after C), C in progress – then there is no valid count for now; the next candles will produce a new one.

Invalid if the 4-hour close is below the end of B
