Costco runs warehouse stores where only paying members can shop. It offers food, household goods, electronics and fuel in large packs with a narrow range, also under its own Kirkland Signature brand. The stores are mainly in North America, plus Asia and Europe. As of Oct 11, 2026
As of Oct 11, 2026Fact sheet (from the annual report)Department and discount stores · Issaquah, USAfull fact sheet
Costco operates warehouse stores open only to paying members, in the United States and other countries. The concept relies on low prices with a limited selection of brand-name and private-label products. The range includes food and household items, fresh goods such as meat and baked goods, as well as consumer electronics and household appliances. In or next to the warehouses there are gas stations, pharmacies, food courts and optical centers. The company also runs online stores and ships goods through its own depots or directly from suppliers. Membership requires an annual fee, and for an extra charge there is the Executive tier with rewards.

How the zone is formed
What is this? The price closes above the highest high of the last 52 weeks for the first time, on clearly higher volume. New 52-week highs are seen as a sign of strength.
Buy zone: the old high up to 1 ATR above it (retest). Stop: 1.5 ATR below the old high. Targets: 3 and 5 ATR above the old high.
The pattern is valid for at most 15 trading days and expires if the price falls below the stop. This is a calculated analysis, not a forecast and not a call to buy. Risk notice and investment advice

How we calculate: values as first reported to the SEC (later corrections are left out), a fixed order of reporting tags per figure, partial sums are never added up. Growth per year Growth per year (CAGR)The average annual growth rate over several years, as if the value had grown equally strongly every year. Individual good or bad years even out in it.Example: Revenue €100m → €161m in 5 years → (161 ÷ 100) to the power of 1/5 − 1 = 10% per year.More in the Academy: Lesson debt, dividends and growth over 5 years (otherwise 3 years). Quarters are labeled by the calendar quarter in which they end.
Insiders
Insider transactionsExecutives, directors and major shareholders (over 10%) of US companies report their own transactions in their company’s stock to the SEC within two business days (Form 4). Purchases in the market count as more meaningful than sales (often taxes, estate planning).Example: Three executives acquire stock worth a total of 2 million USD within two weeks → “purchases by several insiders”.More in the Academy: Glossary
